A Helping Hand for the Community

Any Member that needs any form of assistance as a result of the CoronaVirus is urgently invited to contact Northwood Network on 01923 820 004. We can provide both practical, medical and emotional support.

The welfare of our members is a high priority for the Community and the “Northwood Network”, supported by US Community Cares, was established to offer care and support to all sectors of the community who require it.  We have a 24 hour confidential helpline, and a team of volunteers who can help with hospital and home visits to the sick and convalescing, befriending those who lack a social/family network or organising social events for the over 60’s.

However the Northwood Network is only as good as the information it receives. If you know of anyone in the community who is sick or might need a helping hand, please call the Northwood Network Hotline on 01923 820004 so we can organise help and visiting, whether to hospitals or homes.

If you would like to join our group of volunteers, please contact the synagogue office on 01923 820004

Illness or Loneliness

Please contact Northwood Network if you, or someone you know, would appreciate a phone call or – when possible – a visit. We are a Caring Community and no-one should feel lonely or abandoned by the Shul community in these difficult times.

To all our members or their family who are ill, in hospital, or recuperating from illness or surgery, we wish them a Refuah Sheleima.
