Dear Phylis a resounding success!

On 7 January we were transported back to the end of the thirties to hear the story of ‘Dear Phylis’ , a Northwest Jewish London teenager.

Andee Roback and Lynne Silver took us on a journey from May 1939 through the war years and beyond as they told the uplifting and true story of the much-loved Phylis … her family, her life and her one true love.  This was a story for everyone to enjoy and what a brilliant presentation and interpretation it was. Thanks to our member’s generosity a significant amount of money was raised for Chair Cancer Care.

We are not going to give any more away, as we recommend you visit this experience yourself.

The same event will be showing at Mill Hill United Synagogue 7.00pm on Sunday 21st January.  Entry must be prebooked. Tickets only can be obtained through Mill Hill Synagogue before the event.

DO NOT MISS OUT!”

Lynne and Andee are volunteers at Chai Cancer Care and run a Wednesday Afternoon Social in Hendon.  All proceeds from their “Dear Phylis’ presentation are being donated to Chai, a charity that the girls are so dedicated to.
